It’s with deep regret and sadness to announce that Dave Grundy passed away peacefully at home today after a long illness.

Dave was our Senior Vice President and a member of the club for nearly 60 years.
Dave was Park through and through, he ran a number of very successful colts teams in the 70’s which produced numerous 1st team players such as Bob Tinsley, Mickey Bennett, Dave Newman, John McHugh, Gerry Reynolds, Irving Reed, Roy Fairbrother.

Dave also ran the 4th team for quite a few years keeping old players going and giving opportunities in senior rugby to youngsters such as Peter Greville. When he stopped playing he spent many years reffing for the Liverpool Society.

Dave will be greatly missed by all at Park and our thoughts and prayers are with Marg and family at this sad time.
