Doddie Aid Comes to Birkenhead Park

Memories of a very early Cold Friday morning of our taking part in the Doddie challenge, with the 150 plus riders and support teams warmly greeted by a few hardy Club members. Phil Tarleton presenting a Cheque to Rob Wainwright,(carrying the Match Ball for Saturdays game against Wales on his bike) taking the Doddie challenge fund up to near £250.000. Big thanks to those who turned up to make it fun and a success. Especially Paul Trueman for coordinating and Mark Weller, for a great spead of snacks and Hot Drinks not forgetting the ever popular and now legendary Park fire.
