New Director of Rugby
We are delighted to announce that Neil Shaw has been appointed Director of Rugby of Birkenhead Park Football Club.
Neil has been a member of Birkenhead Park for over 20 years. In that time, Neil has not only played for every one of our mens sides, he has uniquely been 1st team coach of both the mens and womens teams and subsequently an alicadoo.
Neil commented on his appointment “ It is a great time to be involved at Park and I know I have some big shoes to fill following in Martin’s footsteps. I hope I can help in taking Park forward over the next season”
Neil had been hard at work on recruitment of new players which will be announced in due course.
Pre season begins on Tuesday 5th July at Park, new players welcome.
Park start the new league season on Saturday 3rd September with a tough away fixture at Vale of Lune.
