RIP

Paul “Pablo” Howarth

It’s with great sadness that Birkenhead Park announce that former player Paul “Pablo” Howard has passed away after a short illness.

Pablo was a larger ( literally ) than life character who embraced rugby after playing in goal for Chester FC. Social rugby suited him down to the ground with its drinking and singing pre and post-match. He leaves us with many funny stories of tours and matches he was involved with, which will live on in JET and junior rugby folklore.

Funeral arrangements are:
St John the Evangelist's Church
Alaney
Frodsham
WA6 9BZ

28th July at 1pm

Then back to the White Lion Pub opposite the church

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pablo’s family at this time.
