RIP Vera Steele.
News has just come through of the passing of Vera Steele, widow of the Park legend Norman Steele , us older ones remember Vera well and the contribution she made on the Ladies Committee and setting up the original club shop. Norman will be observing from above tomorrow as we take the minutes silence in Vera's honour and he will hopefully be shouting his catchphrase "run laddie run" during the match!
