Welcome to the 2023/2024 season.

Some information for the upcoming 2023/2024 season:

"Squash Court" Development

For those of you unable to join the AGM, the committee was excited to announce that the development will go ahead this season, with a target start date of September. Additional fund raising and events will be required to cover the costs and we ask for all your support over the coming months.

Bar Prices and Discounts

We are in the fortunate position that the contract for our current bar suppliers (Carlsberg / Marston) is due for renegotiation. We have all recognised the effects of inflation and the increasing prices that this translates too. Our intention is to try to reduce costs as much as possible with this renegotiation and of course reflect those in the selection and prices where possible for the upcoming season.
Members will continue to be our priority in providing the best value with their membership card discount and additional "specials" will become a more prominent feature over the season to bring even greater benefits.

Membership Fees

Fees are now due and the options, costs and benefits are as per attached information.

Note we have now introduced Direct Debit Payments (Online Only) for Social and Senior Members also (note this option does not qualify for the "Prompt Payment Discount)

The payment mechanism is through GMS (Game Management System). As existing members you all have accounts and User Ids (default is your email). If you have forgotten your password then just follow the "forgotten" password link, You can also update your details in GMS as needed (this will also help with communication). If you don't know your User ID or Email used in the system then please reach out to the Hon Sec Paul Hayes at hayben60@gmail.com

Existing members cards will be revalidated on payment. Please ensure you obtain a receipt if paying behind the bar to ensure we capture your membership and expedite promptly your card validation.

Any problems just reach out to Kate Thompson (Membership Secretary) or Paul Hayes (Hon Sec).

General Rules

Members have expressed some different concerns over the prior season. We recognise we are a rugby club and as such try to be as flexible as possible but we wanted to take this opportunity to clearly clarify some "General Rules" to help reduce any uncertainties. Please find those below and they will also be posted in the clubhouse for reference.

Please note:

To ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all members and guests, please be

reminded of some common rules whilst enjoying the facilities of the Clubhouse and

Grounds:

 No smoking or vaping allowed within the clubhouse.

 Only working bar staff or committee members allowed behind bar area unless given explicit permission.

 Membership cards only to be used by the cardholder. Discounts rates and other privileges may be withdrawn for noncompliance.

1st Team Match Days
