Update: Henry's funeral will be held at Landican Cemetary on Friday 17th January at 10am. A celebration of Henry's life will take place at the Clubhouse afterwards.

It is with great sadness that the club announce the passing of Henry Wilson.

Henry or as he was widely known "H" joined Park from the Old Birks club as a winger in the 70s. It didn't take long for H to realise that with his shape he was destined for the front row (although he was quite fast). H played mainly in Barry Tilston's 5th team and was a stalwart of the club. Who could ever forget his legendary post match food which was the envy of many a visiting club, or his famous buffets that he would do for his mates milestone birthdays. H was a very proud Scotsman and it was interesting that once he crossed the border into Scotland his Scots brogue became more pronounced. As Micky Ridyard remembers a group of them went to Edinburgh for the semi final of the 1991 RWC. After about 15 minutes of the game stood on the terraces H gave up because he couldn't see a thing and went to the pub.

RIP H

Our sincere thoughts and condolences go to Henry's family at this sad time.
